1. Talk to Your Readers

First, you have to talk with your readers.

What I mean by talking with your readers is that you have to really talk with them like you’ve known each other for a long time.

Talk with their language.

Start with recognizing their problem, and then guiding them to the real solution for their problem.

The point is to create a good impression and establish good conversation with your readers.


2. Create the Desire to Buy

What makes your readers want to buy your product?

You can’t just say to them “Hey, buy this product. It will save your life!”

It doesn’t work like that.

Your sales letter is just a guiding letter that will guide your readers to the buying decision.

You won’t force them to buy.

Instead, you make them want to buy the product.


3. Relate a Relevant Story

Of course, your readers don’t want to just read your promise.

They want real proof of your promise.

They don’t want to buy a product unless they know that the product will really help them.

To convince them further, you can use story to strengthen your sales letter.

By giving your readers relevant story, you will be able to give them something to relate to.

The product popularity will affect the sales of your product.

The more popular your product, the more people will want your product.

The more positive testimonials that you have for your product, the more people will trust your product. Thus, they will buy.

The key is honesty.

5. Benefits and Hope

Would you want to buy a product that you can’t use? Of course not.

You will only buy a product if it can give you good benefits for your life.

That’s because along with those benefits, there will be hope.

For example, if you have a product that helps people to cure their acne, then along with the benefits of your product, there will be hope for acne sufferers to get out from their nightmare.

A good sales letter should be able to give benefits and hope to the readers.

  2. Good tips. Among the many tips that you shared, the one that is most important for me is the testimonials part. having good, genuine testimonials can make all the difference. I personally can say this fact out loud. Because, good testimonials, the genuine ones can be recognized easily and they add to the trust factor.

    If there are good testimonials, I guess it indirectly gives the point #5 a boost! 🙂 Yes, people will become more convinced. They’ll take notice of the benefits that the folks in the testimonials have got.

    This will give them far better hope and belief, I guess.

    Genuine testimonials – this will be very effective, as for my own opinion. One of the powerful ways to provide a proof that your product is worth purchasing is to testify how great and helpful it is.

  5. These aren’t secrets these are the keys. They look like a secret because they weren’t used.

    Create the Desire to Buy – you can use the different reactions/emotions of people using different kind of voice to bring out the desire of them and buy your product or service. It just reminds me of a post I’ve read earlier actually. It was great.

    The number three is obvious, it’s ALWAYS important so take an action now and use these tips correctly.

    Writing sales page is not easy, i have always outsource it to freelancers online to prepare for me.

    I wish to learn how to write killer sales page but i still don’t have confidence in myself.

    All the tips you share are worth talking about and i really leanr something great, maybe i should take the bold step and prepare the sales page of my upcoming ebook myself.

    BENEFITS is one key areas i don’t ignore when sending out my sales letter text. i prefer talking more about the benefit than the product features.

  7. About a well playing sales letter, the most important thing as per my concern is that it should focus on the key need of the customer. Sales letter or I would say proposal should be such that offering all the things that a customer is expecting from you.

    It should be eye catcher and always try to present the best thing that you can offer to your sellers through the sales letter.

    As you have mentioned, try to offer the best solution to their problem by interacting with them and meanwhile show them your service to solve that kind of problem. It can be a good move to transform them into your potential customers.

  9. Hello Erik, I especially liked your 3rd secret.. OH YEH We all like a good story, Stories are what gets us into the heads of others.. SO Right on Cue!

    Everyone has one so why not share. #4 also goes right long with telling your story but this is in a for of a testimony.. Everyone loves to hear about how you are doing Right SO TELL THEM!!
